HOUSING NEEDED
Intermountain is hosting the RIMI board meetings on September 8-9.  A number of board members would like to stay in a home.  If you can open your home to house a Christian couple or individual(s) the evenings of Sept. 7, 8, 9 please let Pastor Dean know.  Thanks. 
 
RIMI BANQUET
We will be hosting a RIMI (Reaching Indians Ministries International) banquet at the church building on Friday, Sept. 9, beginning at 6:30 p.m.  If you would like to attend please RSVP to Pastor Dean. 
 
PARABLES OF LUKE
Pastor Dean and Pastor Lucas will be preaching through the parables of The Gospel of Luke beginning next Sunday, August 28.  These include the Parable of the Sower, the Good Samaritan, the Prodigal Son, and the Parable of the Rich Fool.  Invite your friends and family! 
 
WOMEN’S EVENING BIBLE STUDY
Back by popular demand!  Heather Stone will lead Priscilla Shirer’s 8-week study on spiritual warfare entitled “The Armor of God.”  This study will begin Monday, Sept. 12 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the church.  Cost is $14.  Please sign up in the kitchen so we will know how many books to order. 
 
YOUTH GROUP TRANSITION DINNER
All youth group members and parents (including incoming 7th graders and recent high school grads) along with Mini-inks (College/Career) members are invited to our annual Transition Dinner, this Thurs (8/25) from 6-8 p.m. at the church.  A sign-up sheet is located in the kitchen. 

PRAYING OUR PRODIGALS HOME
Does your heart break for a prodigal son or daughter? Join us for our monthly Prodigal Prayer Meeting following our worship service on the second Sunday of every month.  Our next meeting is Sunday, Sept. 11  
 
MISSIONARY PRAYER MEETING AND MEAL!
Join us for our monthly missionary prayer meeting following our worship service on the fourth Sunday of every month.  Our missionaries serve in difficult places and need our prayers.  We share a light meal together following our prayer time.  Our next meeting follows our worship service next Sunday, August 28.
 
SHOE BOX “CRAYONS AND PENCILS” MONTH!
We encourage you to purchase specific items each month as we prepare to pack our Samaritan Purse Christmas Shoe Boxes in October.  This month we encourage you to purchase crayons and pencils .  This year’s goal is to pack 600 gift boxes for children in third world countries.  Please let Tasha Demorest know how many items you purchase so we can keep track.  Thanks.
