GOOD NEWS JAIL MINISTRY BANQUET

BLOOM CONFERENCE
Annual BLOOM Women's Conference will be at Canyons Church on Saturday, April 12 from 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Cost is $30. This year's speaker is Tonia Riggle from Houston, Texas.  A catered lunch will be served. Flyers and registration forms are available in the kitchen.

EASTER OFFERING
This year’s Easter Offering project is Puerto Penasco Mission.  Our goal this year is $15,000 to purchase a much needed vehicle for the ministry in Puerto
Penasco.  Please pray for God’s leading as you consider making your gift on April 20 (Easter Sunday).

We ask that everyone (whether you are a first-time or regular attendee) please fill out a Connection Registration sheet (located in the booklets in each row of seats) - and share with us any comments and prayer requests you may have. Please list all adults and all youth and children.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE
Pastor Dean is leading a weekly study on “Spiritual Warfare” during the Sunday School hour.  Topics addressed in this class include:  What are Angels?  Who is Satan and how does he work?  What are demons and where did they come from? How do we, as believers obey God’s call to “stand against the schemes of the devil”?  Join us for this important and practical class. 
 
BASICS
Basics class is for (and limited to) new believers or anyone investigating the Christian faith. It is taught by Heather Stone. Topics include: Can we trust the Bible? Who is Jesus? How can we have a relationship with God?  Our class motto: No question is a dumb question! For more information you may call Heather at 801-971-9361.  Class meets in the office building.

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY
Our men’s Bible study entitled, Behold Your God!, meets every Saturday from 7:00-8:30 a.m. at the church.  Join us each week as we consider whether the God we worship is the true God of the Bible.       
 
CHILDREN’S BIBLE CLUB
Children’s Bible Club meets at the church every Thursday from 6:30-8:00 p.m.  Your children will enjoy games, crafts, stories and Bible Study!Newsletter Information

GENERATION SELFLESS (Youth Group)

The “Not So Young” Adult Small Group meets every Weds evening at 7:00 p.m.
 
GOOD NEWS CLUB
Our Good News Club ministry at Vista Elementary is held every Thursday afternoon.  We need your prayers and your help to reach children and families for Christ.  Come watch one of our meetings to see how God can use you!  Contact Joan (801-541-8662) for information. 
 
RECOVERY MINISTRY
Hope in Motion meets at the church office building every Tuesday evening, at 6:30-8:00 p.m. This program is designed to take a close biblical look at yourself and the hope we have in Christ to be freed from destructive behaviors and preoccupation with self.  You will benefit from the “self-confrontation” material we use.  Come join us.
